My life is often a fairy tale
A story too good for words
But time and time again I fail
And dwell instead with turds
A girl as beautiful as you
Must be something more
Yet I'm falling apart on cue
And slamming another door
The people who I love in life
For them I kneel and pray
But dwelling at times on strife
I push them. "Go away."
And so you see at the end
My heart is very lonely
I try once more to not offend
Pleading, "Please, God. If only."
