A life according to fiction.

Once upon a time....

there was a young girl.. wait.... no, a young woman....... who fell in love.... out of love...... in love ..... out of love..... in love..... and she met her Edward........ and she met her Jacob..... and just for the heck of it she met 87 munchkins too.......  but of course she would never be relating her life to Twilight ..... because that would be sad and pathetic....... which was her 5 years previous........ and life was good...... life was really good....... and then Edward was hit by a bus....... which was terribly sad......... but what could this girl do?.... trying to intervene would only break more bones........ so she ran away....... far far away to a magical place where the sun always shines.... and the moon always glows............. but eventually the trees grow taller........ and distract the choirs of relief........ so dead babies are eaten........ and rear ends are fried......... and Jacob treads softly in the background......... listening and deciding...... observing and waiting....... then the girl goes fishing........ unsure of what to catch...... and gets a bite........ a bite of sugar free shaved ice........ and Edward really only rode the bus........ to a place far far away....... where the fairies and sprites sing songs of joy........ and Jacob is so close......... but not nearly close enough....... and the girl jumps off a cliff...... sinking...sinking.....sinking...... into the igneous sand...... and sits there..... on the bottom........ like a mermaid...... waiting for the waves to find their direction.... reading fiction......... wondering that Edward wins in the end......... he has power...... and strength to be different....... but then she thinks....... about Jacob..... and her brown hair decorated laundry...... and what he is doing among the t-shirts of history..... and breathes in as she waits for the waves to decide.

And some chapters later.... after the tragedy and the comedy and the romance and the adventure.... she lives happily ever after.

  1. Sometimes I wonder if you have any seriousness at all. Then I think you must because that couldn't ALL be just a complete joke. But then it's sounds so silly in spots........but that's what life is like, if that's what that is supposed to be.

  2. Tabitha I assure you it is all serious. Every last bit except for the munchkins.
