We basically did nothing the first day. WE spend 10 hours either on a plane or waiting at the airport or on a coach to get from Dublin to Edinburgh because we went all the way back to London and then to Edinburgh.
When we got to our awesome dorms I had nachos at the cafe downstairs and they were delicious especially because I haven't had Mexican food in 5 weeks and I missed it.
